HC Deb 24 February 1857 vol 144 c1247
MR. PALK

said, he would beg to ask the President of the Board of Health, when he would bring in a Health of Towns Bill; and whether the Bill would carry out the recommendations of the Committee on the Board of Health?

MR. W. COWPER

said, he had already given notice of his intention to ask for leave to bring in a Bill to amend the Public Healths Act, and he hoped to do so early in March, if he could. The Bill would be the same as that which had been agreed to by the Select Committee, only containing certain alterations which had been suggested, and which he thought the Select Committee would have been disposed to adopt.
