said, he wished, after the noble Lord's threat, to know whether all the business of the House was to be passed through in dumb show. To test that he should move that the House adjourn.

VISCOUNT PALMERSTON

said, it was: quite impossible that the Session could ever be terminated if they were not allowed to despatch the necessary business.
