Under Secretary for War if it was intended to retain the services of any of the Scotch militia regiments; and, if so, whether the selection of them will depend on the reports which have been made with respect to their comparative strength, efficiency, and discipline, or on what other principle the selection would be made?
§ MR. FREDERICK PEELsaid, that it was not intended to maintain in an embodied state any of the Scotch militia regiments, and that, therefore, it was not necessary to make any selection.
