HC Deb 05 May 1856 vol 141 c2030
MR. NAPIER

said, he would beg to ask the Secretary of state for the Home Department whether any steps had been taken by the Government to carry into effect the recommendations for the improvement of legal education which were contained in the Report of the Commissioners appointed to inquire into the Inns of Court?

SIR GEORGE GREY

said, he felt that the recommendations in question were entitled to very great weight: but at the same time he could not say that any step had yet been taken by Her Majesty's Government for the purpose of carrying them into effect.
