Resolved14. "That, towards raising the Supply granted to Her Majesty, the following duty of Customs shall be charged on tea imported into the United Kingdom, in lieu of the Duty now payable thereon (that is to say): On and after the 21st day of April 1855, until the 5th day of April inclusive, which shall first happen after the end of twelve months from the date of a definitive Treaty of Peace, the pound ls. 9d.; from which last-mentioned day the Duty shall be regulated in accordance with the provisions of the Act, chapter nine, of the present Session of Parliament.
