, Controller of the Household, appeared at the bar, and presented Her Majesty's Answer to the Address of the House of Commons upon the subject of Kilmainham Hospital. It was in the following terms:— I have received your Address on the subject of the admission of maimed and worn-out soldiers into the Royal Hospital of Kilmainham; and having taken into consideration the representations you have made, I have directed that immediate inquiry shall be instituted into the state of that Hospital.
