Baronet the Chairman of the Committee on Commercial Distress, in his place, wished to know whether it were true that the Committee had refused or intended to refuse to examine as witnesses Mr. Alison, Sheriff of Renfrewshire, and Mr. Blacker, an Irish gentleman?
