§ Sir G. Greybegged to ask the right hon. Baronet opposite whether it was the intention of Her Majesty's Government to introduce during the present Session any measures for the better regulation of the Ecclesiastical Courts?
§ Sir J. Grahamsaid, that his Colleagues and himself had already given notice of the intention of Her Majesty's Government to introduce several measures of very great importance during the present Session; and he must say, from the experience of the two preceding Sessions, he despaired of being able to frame a measure respecting the Ecclesiastical Courts which would be acceptable or satisfactory to the present Parliament. He did not know how his right hon. and learned Friend felt disposed to act, but he himself had no intention of bringing forward any measure.
