HC Deb 02 June 1841 vol 58 cc968-9
Mr. Aglionby

begged to ask, whether it was the intention of her Majesty's Ministers to carry through the House during the present Session, a measure respecting which there was a great deal of anxiety out of doors—he meant the Administration of Justice (No. 1.) Bill?

The Attorney-General

could assure the hon. Member that it was the wish and the intention of the Government to carry the measure through during the present Ses- sion. The delay had arisen from an obstacle interposed by his right hon. Friend the Member for Ripon, respecting the Accountant-general; but he hoped to see it pass through the House very shortly.
