§ Sir Augustus Clifford, gentleman usher of the black rod, appeared at the Table, and summoned the House to the House of Peers, to hear her Majesty's most gracious Speech.
§ The Speaker, followed by the Members present, immediately went to the House of Peers, and on his return, read a copy of her Majesty's Speech, and acquainted the House that Parliament was prorogued till Thursday the 24th day of October next.
§ The House separated.
