- The Financial Stability Forum (FSF) was convened in April 1999 to promote international financial stability through information exchange and international co-operation. It comprised national and international financial institutions, standards-setting bodies and committees of banking experts. It advised the G8 governments among others. It was succeeded by the Financial Stability Board in April 2009.
