Definition

• Section 8 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 introduced reparation orders against defendants convicted of an offence under sections 1, 2 or 4 of the Act and where a confiscation order is made. A reparation order requires the defendant to pay compensation to the victim for any harm resulting from the offence.
