• Established June 2000. Previously known as Royal Ordnance which was acquired by British Aerospace (BAe) in 1987 retaining original name. Restructured as RO Defence, a subsidiary company within BAE Systems. In September 2004 merged with Alvis to become BAE Land Systems.
