Definition

• The Africa Unit is based at the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) in the UK. It is funded by the Department of Business Innovation and Skills (BIS), previously the Department of Innovation, Universities & Skills (DIUS), and the Department for Employment and Learning Northern Ireland (DELNI). It aims to promote, facilitate and enhance partnerships between African and UK Higher and Further education institutions (HE/FE).
