Definition

• A form of secondary legislation under powers granted by the Regulatory Reform Act 2001. Largely replaced by Legislative reform orders in 2006.

History note

• Spoke to Journal Office on 21/10/2015 - they advise that this type of order is largely superseded by Legislative Reform Orders; it is possible that another one could be made, but unlikely. See also Lords oral answer vol. 696 c658 (AS).
