Definition

• Established October 1992 bringing together all unarmed civilian guard services at MOD establishments to an in-house service. From 01.04.04 merged with Ministry of Defence Police to form Ministry of Defence Police and Guarding Agency. In April 2013, MOD Police and Guarding Agency was disbanded, and the Ministry of Defence Guard Service joined the Defence Infrastructure Organisation.
