Scope note

• Used as a procedural term on relevant debates. The promotion of, and collation of public contributions to, digital debates are managed by the Digital Outreach team. Alerts are sent to the DIS-IDMS inbox, as contributions during the debate may not reference that it has been preceded by a debate on social media.

History note

• Proposed by the Speaker's Commission on Digital Democracy. Initially Westminster Hall for 2015-2020 Parliament, but moved to the main Chamber in 2016.
