The Clerk of the Parliaments shall cause to be published, either in the Minutes of Proceedings or in some other manner, particulars of the deposit of statutory instruments under this Standing Order. |

Where, under any Act of Parliament, a statutory instrument is required to be laid before Parliament after being made, the deposit of a copy of the instrument with the Clerk of the Parliaments in accordance with this Standing Order, at any time during the existence of a Parliament when the House is not sitting for public business, shall constitute the laying of it before the House, provided that nothing in this Standing Order shall apply to any special procedure order, to any statutory instrument which requires an affirmative resolution before it can come into operation, or to any other instrument which is required to be laid before Parliament for any period before it comes into operation. |
