1947 — 4th November | 49 Adjournment of House to facilitate business of standing committees |
In order to facilitate the business of standing committees a motion may, after two days' notice, be made by a minister of the crown at the commencement of public business, in either of the following forms:- |

(a) |
" That this House do now adjourn " (in which case, if the question thereon be not previously agreed to, Mr. Speaker shall put the question half an hour after it has been proposed), or |
||||
(b) |
" That this House do now adjourn till seven of the clock this day " (in which case the question thereon shall be decided without amendment or debate): |
