1995 — 17th July At the conclusion of proceedings on a Consolidated Fund or an Appropriation Bill, a member of the Government may move 'That this House do now adjourn', the motion shall not lapse at ten o'clock, or be interrupted at that hour save for the purpose of moving a motion pursuant to paragraph (2) of Standing Order No. 14 (Exempted business), may be proceeded with at any hour, though opposed, and if proceedings have not been concluded by nine o'clock in the morning at that sitting, the motion shall lapse at that hour: Provided that if the sitting shall have commenced on a Thursday, the motion shall lapse at eight o'clock in the morning.
