1965 — 27th October On a day not earlier than the seventh allotted day, being a day before the 31st of March, the chairman shall, at half-past nine of the clock, forthwith put every question necessary to dispose of the vote then under consideration. He shall then forthwith put the question with respect to any vote on account and all such navy, army and air votes for the coming financial year as shall have been put down on at least one previous day for consideration in the Committee of Supply on an allotted day, that the total amounts of all such votes outstanding be granted for those services. And the chairman shall then in like manner put severally the questions in respect of the civil estimates and the estimate for the Ministry of Defence and of the navy, the army and the air estimates, that the total amounts of all such outstanding estimates supplementary to those of the current financial year as shall have been presented seven clear days previously be granted for the services defined in the supplementary estimates. He shall then in like manner put severally the questions that the total amounts of any outstanding excess vote (provided that the Committee of Public Accounts shall have reported that they see no objection to the sums necessary being provided by excess vote) be granted for the services defined in any statement of excess.
