	answer text	<p>There are four male and no female executive board members.</p><p>There are three male and one female non-executive board members.</p><p>In his most recent annual report (2012-13) the Government Lead Non-Executive, Lord Browne, noted that whereas “FTSE100 companies only have 12.5 per cent of board members who are women, more than 36 per cent of government non-executives are women.”</p><p>The Department is committed to ensuring that it reflects the diversity of the public we serve, at all levels.</p>
