	answer text	<p>The independent analysis phase of the investigation into the presence of menthol as a characterising flavour in 20 cigarette brands has now concluded. We will be sharing these findings soon with relevant manufacturers and anticipate that the anonymised findings will be published shortly thereafter.</p><p>We expect industry to comply with regulation 15 of the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016. Where there is evidence of non-compliance the Department works with the relevant enforcement authorities to ensure that this is remedied.</p>
