<p>[holding answer 15 October 2013]: We are currently developing our approach to evaluating the 2010 Drug Strategy and this will include an assessment of its effectiveness and value for money in achieving its overarching aims.</p><p>We currently monitor trends on drug use using the Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW) and trends on the numbers recovering from dependence using the National Drug Treatment Monitoring System (NDTMS).
