	answer text	<p>There are no changes to plans for plutonium management as part of plans for nuclear new build. The Government's preferred option for long term plutonium management, as set out in our December 2011 consultation response, is to convert the plutonium into MOX fuel for use in new nuclear build reactors, as this is the most credible and technologically mature option for plutonium management.</p>
