<p>The largest number of appointments as an officer of a limited company held by a single individual is 1,458.</p><p> </p><p>Company legislation imposes no cap on the number of company officer appointments an individual can hold. However, the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Bill 2022 will introduce identity verification for company officers, allowing the Registrar of Companies more easily to monitor the risk that might be represented by abnormally high concentrations of officer appointments.</p><p> </p>
