	answer text	We have not received any representations regarding placing the budget of the Department for International Development on a statutory footing.We have received a number of representations regarding the coalition Government's commitment to enshrine the commitment to spend 0.7% of national income as official development assistance from 2013 onwards. As the Prime Minister has made clear, the Government intend to place that commitment onto a statutory footing as soon as the parliamentary timetable allows.
