To ask the hon. Member for Aberdeen North, representing the House of Commons Commission, for how many days each lift in Portcullis House was out of service in (a) 2011 and (b) January 2012; for what reasons lifts in Portcullis House have been taken out of service; what the cause was of any delay in repairing lifts; what measures are being taken to prevent such delays and loss of service; and if he will make a statement.
