<p>The UK is one of the largest donors to the international response to the COVID-19 crisis. We have committed up to £1.3 billion of new UK aid since the start of the pandemic, to counter its health, humanitarian and socio-economic impacts in the world's poorest countries, and to find and equitably distribute a vaccine.</p><p>This includes the UK's commitment of up to £500 million for the COVAX Advance Market Commitment, which will contribute to a total supply of 1 billion COVID-19 vaccine doses for 92 developing countries in 2021, subject to the successful approval of stringent safety tests and regulations.</p><p> </p>
