DFID's current allocation for development work in Burma between 2011-15 is £187 million. These funds will deliver transformative change to benefit the people of Burma: helping children complete primary school, supporting responsible investment and economic growth, fighting malaria, improving livelihoods in rural areas, and assisting people affected by conflict and the process of ethnic reconciliation. A revised profile of DFID's spending over 2013-14, 2013-14 and 2014-15 will be published later this summer.
