Unban the Iceland Christmas advert |

The new Iceland Christmas advert has been banned from being broadcast in the UK by Clearcast, as it is deemed to be politically motivated. However, in actuality it is highlighting a very real issue that Orangutans are facing today. This is no different to a Charity raising awareness of a cause. |

Clearcast, the body responsible for vetting ads, said it was in breach of rules laid out in the 2003 Communications Act. One of the laws stipulates that a promotional campaign is prohibited if it is "directed towards a political end".
