<p>The Government is making a full assessment of the EU Victims' Directive prior to its implementation date in November 2015. The Directive will be transposed in line with domestic policy aims through changes to national law through secondary legislation and statutory codes. This includes transposing part of the Directive in the new Victims’ Code. In commissioning services for victims in future, and in moving to the majority of services for victims being commissioned locally by Police and Crime Commissioners, we will be informed by the requirements of the Directive.</p> |
