	answer text	<p>It is our policy in central Government to pay undisputed invoices within five days.</p><p>There is already a requirement in central Government contract terms for contractors to pay their sub-contractors within 30 days. The Mystery Shopper scheme enables any firm, including all sub-contractors, to bring inappropriate practice to the attention of Cabinet Office. Such cases are then investigated; appropriate action taken and the results published.</p>
