<p>The Accelerating Improved Nutrition for Extreme Poor Project (2012-15) focuses on the nutrition needs of 600,000 people including children, adolescent girls and pregnant and breast-feeding women. In particular, it expects to improve the quality, quantity and variety of food intake, leading to better health outcomes for the extreme poor.</p><p>The project is implemented through DFID's three ongoing poverty programmes:</p><p>Chars Livelihoods Programme;</p><p>Economic Empowerment of the Poorest Programme; and</p><p>Urban Partnership for Poverty Reduction Programme.</p> |
