I plan to issue a public consultation in the summer on the conduct requirements which regulate claims management companies activities. A preliminary consultation and call for evidence has already been carried out with key industry stakeholders and the outcome of this will inform the full consultation. Any proposed changes to the requirements on claims management companies are subject to scrutiny by the Regulatory Policy Committee and approval by the Reducing Regulation Cabinet sub-Committee.
