<p>The invitation to tender (ITT) asked providers to consider the claimant experience and needs of the PIP claimant base such as proximity to public transport routes and access to suitable parking e.g. Blue Badge claimants and that they must not travel for more than 90 minutes.</p><p>Atos Healthcare, the personal independence payment (PIP) assessment provider in Lot 3 (London and southern England), have a delivery model based on working with partners established in the health care sector. Atos are using the premises of their partners for PIP consultations—locations such as physiotherapy clinics, local hospitals and medical centres, which may already be familiar to claimants and are usually at the centre of established public transport links.</p>
