	answer text	<p>The Government welcomes the Taskforce's report, the 30 specific recommendations for reforming EU law, and the COMPETE principles, which should apply to all new EU legislation.</p><p>The Government will continue to press the EU to implement the recommendations in the Taskforce's report. In particular, we want to see early action to reform rules on chemicals (REACH), clinical trials, and interchange fees.</p>
