	answer text	<p>The UK supports the rights of Human Rights Defenders to carry out their work safely and without fear. We continue to raise human rights as a concern in our dialogue with the Government of Pakistan. In concurrence to these discussions, the British High Commission in Islamabad continues to support civil society and Non Governmental Organisations in lobbying the Pakistani Government to honour in practice its international commitments, including on human rights.</p>
