<p>[holding answer 4 November 2013]: The Government is clear that consumers must be able to easily access clear and transparent information about bank charges; have a reasonable opportunity to manage their account and control whether or not they incur charges,</p><p>The Office of Fair Trading (OFT) found in January 2013 there has been a significant reduction in bank fees and charges since their 2008 market study.
