	answer text	<p>UK daily newspapers are purchased for the private ministerial office in DECC and are used by Ministers, special advisers and other staff to keep Ministers informed of news and comment on the DECC agenda. The office also has a subscription to the New Statesman, Economist and The Spectator.</p><p>The Department subscribes to energy and climate change periodicals and trade press, which may be passed to Ministers on some occasions, but Private Office does not subscribe to any of these.</p>
