(286293)""Information on gross domestic product by region is not available for years from 1997 onwards. However the Office for National Statistics does publish estimates of regional gross value added (GVA) using official statistical geographies known as the Nomenclature of Units for Territorial Statistics (NUTS). Data at NUTS1 level refer to Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and the Government Office Regions of England.
