	answer text	<p>In March 2016 the Government published draft guidance to local housing authorities on the periodical review of housing needs for people living in caravans and houseboats, in relation to the duty under section 8 of the Housing Act 1985. We are considering the future of this guidance in light of the responses to the consultation on unauthorised development and encampments.</p>
