[48582]Mr. Geoffrey Robinson: The Inland Revenue announced a review of Self-assessment in a Press Release on 23 February 1998 and asked forviews on what aspects of self-assessment went well and what aspects needed improvement. The closing date for comment was 29 May 1998and responses are now being reviewed. The Inland Revenue expect to issue a report in due course.
