	answer text	<p>Development consent requirements for onshore wind farms are generally the responsibility of the local planning authority to discharge, monitor and enforce. In exceptional cases, the Secretary of State may be responsible for discharging certain conditions, for instance, some requirements in respect of aviation radar.</p><p>In respect of offshore wind farms, the Secretary of State is responsible for discharging and enforcing development consent requirements alongside other marine regulators who are responsible for the requirements contained in other relevant licences and permits.</p>
