Ofcom is currently undertaking a strategic review into the PMSE sector's current and future spectrum needs. Government is alive to the issue of continued access to suitable spectrum and ensured that funding was made available for the transition of wireless microphones from Channel 69 to Channel 38 necessary to clear that channel for the recent 4G auction.</p>
