	answer text	My officials have held various discussions with the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) and Department for Transport officials, in taking forward the Smart Metering Implementation programme, including on the development of smart metering functionality requirements. These discussions have informed the Government's Response to the consultation on our ““Smart Metering Prospectus””, published on 30 March 2011. Officials will continue to liaise as work on the Smart Meters programme continues.
