No. The Department for International Development (DFID) is currently reviewing all spending through country and regional programmes to ensure we focus our resources where we can achieve the most impact. We will close or reduce the size of programmes where we judge that a country no longer requires substantial aid. The Secretary of State has previously announced that UK bilateral aid programmes in China and Russia will close. Consequently not all countries will receive a cash increase in funding. Allocations to each country will be determined by the conclusions of the Bilateral Aid Review early next year.
