	answer text	<p>The Department has not previously produced an impact assessment of the effect on schools of the recommendation for a meat tax from the Committee on Climate Change. The Prime Minister reconfirmed the Government's position on this issue when he set out his vision for taking a pragmatic and proportionate approach to reaching net zero by 2050, in a way that avoids imposing significant costs on working people while still meeting international commitments.</p><p> </p>
