<p>No alteration to law or practice in the UK has been required as a result of Council Framework Decision 2001/413/JHA. Long before this Framework Decision, the UK had robust laws in this respect.</p><p>The Government considers that existing domestic law meets the requirements of the Framework Decision 2000/383/JHA, as amended, and provides the appropriate domestic sanctions for forgery and counterfeiting. It is important that we maintain legislation to deal with this significant criminal activity.</p> |
