<p>As well as visits relevant to her other responsibilities, since July 2016 the Secretary of State has visited 12 prisons, young offender institutes and secure training centres. The dates and prisons are as follows:</p><p>15 July 2016 – HMP Belmarsh</p><p>15 July 2016 HMP Isis</p><p>30 August 2016 and 25 November 2016 HMP Norwich</p><p>14 October 2016 – HMP Thameside</p><p>21 October 2016 – HMP Bronzefield</p><p>1 November 2016 – HM Brixton</p><p>18 November 2016 – HMP Lincoln</p><p>1 December 2016 – HMP Pentonville</p><p>13 December 2016 – HMP Wandsworth</p><p>6 January 2017 - HMYOI Cookham Wood and Medway Secure Training Centre</p><p>20 January 2017 – HMP Rochester</p><p> </p><p>The Secretary of State and Justice Ministers regularly visit all facilities in prisons, which include mental health services.</p> |
